Mission The Oregon Student Nurses’ Association (OSNA) is committed to improving the student experience by collaborating with nursing schools and developing professional relationships. OSNA strives to support members by offering educational and networking opportunities, professional development, legislative influence, scholarship opportunities, and organizational support.
Vision To encourage the creation of the next generation of nurse leader. To empower nursing students to be an influential voice that positively impacts nursing education. To promote the transition of students into professional nursing organizations. To facilitate active involvement in legislation and policy-making intended to affect health care, student rights, and advocacy issues. To break down any barriers that prevent access to the nursing profession. To support the development of peer support systems among colleagues of the enhancement of camaraderie, retention, and recruitment in the nursing profession. To promote a culture of diversity and inclusivity.
