11.23.07 - OSNA Participates in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. More than 800 teams and a record 47,500 people (the largest event of its kind on the West Coast) participated in Oregon’s Race for the Cure this year. Neither cold, nor waking up extremely early after a week of clinicals, kept students from the race. OSNA Board Members were determined to help raise money for this important cause. Beth Bolander, Nina Katovic, and Kindra Scanlon participated in this important event.

2.23.08 - OSNA held its annual state conference at Linfield College. More than 300 local students attended the conference.

3.25.08 - OSNA sends students to the National NSNA Convention in Grapevine, TX. Oregon students pass two resolutions at the National Conference. OSNA also won two awards (Winner's Way Student Involvement Increase and Most Improved State Newsletter) and students networked with more than 3,000 students and nurse leaders.

4.24.08 - OSNA Nursing and Prenursing Student Gathering. OSNA President Nina Katovic gave a presentation about the NSNA National Student Convention held in Grapevine, TX. In addition, OSNA members shared their convention experiences.

5.17.08 - 2008 American Heart Association Heart Walk. OSNA leaders and student nurses walked to raise money for the American Heart Association.
