Hello fellow student nurses! My name is Sabrina, and I am honored to be serving as the Professional Development Director for the OSNA. I attend the BSN program at Linfield College, and serve as the President of my school’s SNA chapter. Some fun facts about me are that I was born in Odessa, Ukraine, a hobby of mine is throwing pottery, and I’m a huge animal lover. A professional development goal of mine is to learn more about healthcare policy and to pursue a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in Adult Gerontology Acute Care.
It is my belief that as student nurses, our participation in the healthcare community is integral to our personal growth and development, as well as the growth and future of the nursing profession. As the Professional Development Director, my hope is to support our members in pursuing and achieving their professional goals by acting as a resource for various networking, learning, and career advancing opportunities. Feel free to email me with suggestions of events you’d be interested in attending, along with any ideas on how I can better aid in your professional development at oregonsnadevelopment.org. I look forward to an exciting year serving you all!
